Designer Emiliano Godoy’s Snowjob Chair is shimmering, glimmering, and made with a conscience. The lovely seat is built from FSC-certified wood, biodegradable finish, and a material called “Ecoist,” which is handmade from tiny pieces of offcuts from candy wrapper manufacturers. The material is assembled by craftswomen, providing economic opportunities, and provides an intricate, unique patina for the chair, which is reinforced with a post-consumer recycled paper layer on the inside. It can also be broken down and flat-packed for easy shipment and storage. See more of Emiliano Godoy’s work on his website.
